sharing expertise knowledge through regular workshops and programmes for vulnerable residents, hoping to improve their quality of life and enrich their mental and social well-being; and

getting IFPAS members to volunteer by befriending the children from the vulnerable groups to help them break away from antisocial activities and to empower, inspire and mobilise them to have a brighter future.

All proceeds from the registration will be channelled to the IFPAS Love Fund, the beneficiaries of which are children and people with disabilities.

Around 3,000 participants are expected to join us in this inaugural and meaningful event filled with fun and exciting activities. Invitations will also be extended to target beneficiaries of PA.

MESSAGE FROM IFPAS PRESIDENT

Dear friends,

Our industry is a relatively competitive industry. However, we’d like to see ourselves more as colleagues from different companies instead of competitors. Thus, this inaugural run is another event that we trust will bring the practitioners together, for social interaction and for a good cause, i.e. raising money for the IFPAS Love Fund.

We will also take the opportunity to formalise our collaboration with the People’s Association through the IFPAS-PA Signature Programme, which has involved our members in the past year in activities at the community level. The activities include financial literacy sessions for adults, cooking lessons for the children and feeding the senior folks.

The IFPAS Love Fund was officially launched during our IFPAS All Star Awards that was held last 17 March 2019 at Carlton Hotel. The event was graced by Mr Tan Chuan-Jin, Speaker of Parliament. The fund is being managed by the Community Foundation of Singapore (CFS) and the intended beneficiaries are carefully checked and verified by CFS. IFPAS intended beneficiary are children and people with disabilities.

On behalf of IFPAS, I would like to thank all our existing partners and sponsors for their support. I wish the rest of the organising committee the very best in the preparations for the IFPAS Run and I look forward to seeing you all on 11 November 2018!
